My first book review of: “Resurrection in May” by Lisa Samson

I am not an avid reviewer so this was a bit tough for me to do. I wanted to get away from the computer and read a really good book. So I did. I went to Booksneeze.com and signed up to review books. I had the chance of picking out one book that they have available. They send it free all you have to do is review it according to their guidelines. I thought what a piece of cake right? Wrong. The book however was the best book that I have read in along time. I couldn't peal it away from my hands. Here is my short review:

Fiction
Just out of college, May Seymore wanted to reach the ends of the earth so she went on a mission to Rwanda.  Witnessing horrible genocide and living through some horrific events. Finding May on the side of the road drunk Claudias a back of the woods farmer picks her up and settles her down on his farm.  May continues to live with him so she can try to recover from the horror that she has been through.  Depression, PTSD is pretty prevalent in this story.  May and Claudias become fast friends and have the love, emotion and down right admiration for one another that a father and daughter relationship sometimes has.
I loved this book. I was engrossed from start to finish. I felt as if I was right there on that farm.  I sometimes had tears in my eyes and laughter in my heart. I would recommend this to anyone.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their BookSneeze.com <http://BookSneeze.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
